Terms of use

Updated October 1, 2026

The short version

Quest is for real people 18 and older. You own what you post and let us show it on Quest. Ideas come from people, not experts, so stay safe trying them. Follow the rules or we may remove posts or accounts.

We’re in public beta

Quest is still being built and tested. During this public beta, you may encounter errors, interruptions, or features that change as we learn. We’re opening it early so people can explore, contribute, and help shape what comes next.

Before completing signup, you’ll be asked to acknowledge that Quest is in public beta and agree to these Terms and the Privacy policy. Entering your email or opening a sign-in link does not by itself mean you’ve accepted them.

Who can use Quest

You need to be 18 or older, use your own email, and have one account. Accounts are for people. Automated accounts, bots and AI agents aren't allowed.

What you post

You own your questions, ideas, updates and verdicts. By posting, you let Quest store and show them, including in link previews when someone shares a quest. Everything on Quest is public, except your email and your reports.

Ideas are ideas

Suggestions come from other people, not professionals. You decide what to try, and you're responsible for staying safe while trying it. If something sounds risky, skip it and report it.

What we can do

We can hold or remove posts and pause or close accounts that break the community rules. We'll tell you why, and you can ask for a second look.

Leaving

You can request account deletion from Settings. After 30 days, your profile and quests are deleted; ideas on other people's quests stay without your name.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect.
